Amber Norgaard (singer/songwriter)I first came to Allusion Studios to get my music mastered. The mastering turned out great, however, I realized that my mixes could definitely use some help. I brought my music files to Jim, and he was able to do an incredible mix on my songs. He worked efficiently and professionally, and offered me an education along the way. Jim has brought my music to new levels, and I look forward to continuing working with him. |

Barry Sparks (Dokken, Ted Nugent)I first met Jim when I was mastering my acoustic album "Glimmer Of Hope" Jim is a real pro, with a friendly, easy going personality and he is also very helpful on the creative end as well. My CD came out great. I am very happy with the results. It was then I also found out Jim was a top notch drummer as well. Jim played drums on my new album "Can't Look Back" and also played drums in my band. I will continue to work with Jim in the future, and you should too! |

Bryan Snyder (singer/songwriter)I completed a 17 song recording project at Allusion Studios. Prior, I had never taken on a recording task alone or this large. Jim was very organized when it came to prepping me for Pre-production planning. He kept me on task, which ensured that I would finish on-time and wouldn't go over budget. From locking in tempos for click tracks to charting out each song, Jim pushed me to be ready to record. Jim is a professional and Allusions Studios is the only place I trust for my recording projects. |

Mike Serres, The Desert CadillacsJim, I just wanted to drop you a quick line and let you know what a great experience we had recording our demo in your studio. The layout of the place is pleasant and comfortable, and the equipment is top notch! I can't believe how much we got done in so short an amount of time. Recording eleven songs in one session (including setup, microphone placement, adjusting levels, multiple takes, etc.) and then mixing everything down in the next session was amazing. To walk out the door with a finished master in two nights is...well...unbelievable...but it happened! (The cost was fair and reasonable, too, especially for a local working band.) We really appreciated your attention to detail in getting us the kind of sound we were after, both in the recording and mix-down phase. We couldn't have been happier with the final product, and it's because of that demo that we're getting better paying gigs, so coming into the studio was worth our investment. Of course - due to the great experience we had at Allusion Studios - I have the recording bug, and am already thinking about what our next recording project will be. See you soon. |

Clement ChaseI needed some scratchy old 78 records of Mexican music restored and a DVD movie produced. The music sounds better than ever before and the project was a great success. |
